  Took my VW and Mitsubishi there over two weeks for their annual servicing. Not only were they almost half the price of a dealers cap priced servicing, they were friendly and had both servicing done in a timely manner. Will be going back in the future and will be referring them to anyone that needs work done.

  There really aren't enough kind things I could say about this place. My friend and I were traveling on a long road trip south to Sydney to catch a flight when my car started acting up- I thought it might be my fuel filter so we unhappily decided to pull over to get the car checked out. Because it was late we had to wait until the next morning (which was a Saturday) and found that 1) there weren't many places open, and 2) the ones that were couldn't fit us in. I ended up calling this Midus and spoke to Russell who was naturally kind enough to enquire what my problem was and what I suspected. After chatting for a bit he said if I wanted I could bring my car in and he would run the diagnostics for me because it only took a few minutes- but when I asked him if they found the problem would they have the time to fix it, he said unfortunately not because they were very busy that day. We figured that was better than nothing and at least we would know what the problem was, so we took it in. Russell ran the diagnostics for free (which would've cost anywhere from $50-150 back home in Canada) and said it wasn't a problem and that he was happy to help. He found that my fourth cylinder had misfired twice and said it was a fairly simple fix. I asked him again whether or not he would have time to fix it because he had been so kind us I would rather give them the business then anyone else, he said "yeah, I'll squeeze you in".

  We had an issue with our front brakes which we discovered on Saturday, needed an emergency repair which Midas fixed for us that day. They didn't have the parts & had to order that day. Thank you for your prompt repair & excellent service.

  As a traveler, you hear a lot of horror stories about people (especially girls) having car problems and the locals taking advantage of them because they know they have no other option, but this couldn't be further from the case in our situation. Russell was so kind and informative and really went out of his way to help us out when we were on a very tight schedule and our options were looking slim. He ordered the parts and finished the car a lot earlier than we expected, at which point we were about a 30 minute walk from the shop. Russell called us to let us know that they were closing, so in a panic I was rushing around trying to figure out where I was and catch a taxi so I can get back there as quickly as possible. By the time I called back the shop was already closed but Russell was still there knowing that we needed the car- I apologized profusely and said that I was looking for a taxi, and he offered to come pick me up! All in all the repairs were a LOT less than I had anticipated, and my friend and I were still able to continue our planned adventures- and I couldn't thank Russell enough for helping us out in what could've been a disastrous situation!
